Spatial-Sandbox (accessible at https://spatialsandbox.app) is a client-side geospatial developer toolkit designed to visualize, inspect, validate, and convert Well-Known Text (WKT) and GeoJSON geometries.

We are firmly committed to user privacy. Our application architecture is engineered so that your spatial and geometry data is processed entirely in your web browser and is never sent to our servers.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Because Spatial-Sandbox operates as a serverless static web application:

• No Geometry or Spatial Data Transmission: Any WKT, GeoJSON, coordinates, bounding boxes, or spatial attributes you paste, upload, draw, or inspect remain strictly inside your browser's local memory.
• No Account Information: We do not require registration, login, passwords, email addresses, or personal profiles.
• No User File Storage: Files dragged and dropped or uploaded into Spatial-Sandbox are parsed locally using JavaScript File APIs. No file uploads occur to any backend server.

3. Browser Local Storage

Spatial-Sandbox utilizes your browser's localStorage API solely to preserve your active workspace (e.g., loaded geometries, selected basemap style, and light/dark theme preference) between page refreshes.

This local storage data is retained exclusively on your device. You can erase this data at any time by clicking the "Clear All" button in the workspace sidebar or by clearing your browser's site data / cache.

4. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements when you visit our website. Google AdSense helps keep Spatial-Sandbox free for developers worldwide.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick / DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to Spatial-Sandbox and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or the Your Online Choices portal.

5. Third-Party Map Tile Providers & APIs

To display interactive map backgrounds, your browser directly requests map tiles from third-party geospatial providers. When your browser downloads these tile images, your IP address and standard HTTP request headers may be visible to:

• OpenStreetMap: Map data & standard tiles (© OpenStreetMap contributors).
• Esri / ArcGIS Online: World Imagery satellite tiles (© Esri, Maxar, Earthstar Geographics).
• epsg.io: When requesting projection definitions for custom EPSG codes, definitions are fetched from epsg.io.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Spatial-Sandbox does not set first-party tracking or profiling cookies. Third-party advertising partners (Google AdSense) and CDN infrastructure providers may set technical cookies to prevent fraud, manage network traffic, and serve contextual or personalized advertisements in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

7. GDPR, UK-GDPR & CCPA / CPRA Compliance

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California:

• Data Subject Rights: Because we do not collect personal identifiers, IP logs, or account data, we have no personal data to store, sell, or disclose.
• Right to Opt Out: You have the right to opt out of third-party cookie-based tracking and advertising as outlined in Section 4 above.
