By accessing or using Spatial-Sandbox (the "Service", "Website", accessible at https://spatialsandbox.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of the Service

Spatial-Sandbox provides free, browser-based geospatial development utilities for parsing, visualizing, validating, inspecting, and converting Well-Known Text (WKT), GeoJSON, and other spatial vector formats on interactive maps.

3. Permitted & Acceptable Use

• You may use the Service for personal, educational, research, and commercial development workflows.
• You agree not to use automated bots, scrapers, denial-of-service tools, or malicious scripts to abuse or degrade the availability of the Website.
• You agree not to attempt to circumvent security headers, reverse engineer proprietary third-party tile endpoints, or overload third-party basemap servers through automated bulk requests.

4. Intellectual Property & User Data

• Your Data: You retain 100% ownership and copyright over any spatial geometries, datasets, GeoJSON features, and text strings you paste or upload into the application. We do not store, copy, or claim rights to your data.
• Application Code & Branding: The website design, layout, logo, code, and documentation of Spatial-Sandbox are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Third-Party Map Tiles & Attributions

The base map layers provided in Spatial-Sandbox are powered by external open data initiatives and commercial providers. By using these basemaps, you agree to respect their respective licenses and attribution requirements:

• OpenStreetMap: © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL).
• Esri World Imagery: Source: Esri, Maxar, Earthstar Geographics, and the GIS User Community.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, GEODETIC ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Geospatial reprojections (via Proj4js) and geometry validations are performed client-side using mathematical approximations. Spatial-Sandbox should not be used as the sole basis for life-critical navigation, emergency dispatch, or legal boundary demarcation.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SPATIAL-SANDBOX, ITS CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
